Members ecurrency exchange
I've noticed a few other forums offer a thread for members to post when they are looking to make an ecurrency exchange, eg - egold to ebullion, or Asian Pay to egold, etc. Generally, a member posts what currency they have and need to exchange for, and then the details of the transaction are handled via pm between the parties.
Once a transaction is completed, the member requesting the transaction posts to confirm it was done, which serves to develop a reliable reputation for the parties in the exchange.
Given the recent uncertainties, it seems many people are scurrying about to dump their egold or exchange it for another ecurrency.
Do members here like the idea of doing this? Please VOTE.

Hi Smile I voted NO because having an exchange folder is a sure way to attract scammers just like the other forums. Considering this forum is relatively new it would be very easy for someone to join up, build a massive post count very quickly buy gold status etc and be all set to scam someone. It would work however if you made it necessary that all transactions went through an escrow agent (could be you)

G'day,

I voted no for much the same reasons as Darkentity. If an exchange went bad for someone they may well blame the admin here despite any warnings of "at your own risk".

In theory it would be nice to be able to offer it but we all know how bad this playing field is and I think it would, in time, cause a bad name for the forum. I don't think it would be good for GFN either.

No for th same reason as above, unless GFN start such program as escrow by example Wink
Or with a few trusted members as internal "exchangers"

No for the reasons mentioned above.
Too dangerous! No one can be trusted in the HYIP world.Even long time forum members have scammed other members.

There are some members to be trusted, I do exhange with a few since long now, as long as they have as much as you to lose, they will not scam you, and as in everything, diversification is good Smile

I vote No, as the others had express the same reasons.

GE, I share your thoughts because with my past pleasant experience,
the exchange with trusted members, is fine.

RE: Members ecurrency exchange
I am a little surprised at the reactionary "no" voting, but also agree that I have enjoyed exchanges between people I can trust, don't need it, and have never made an exchange through a membership exchange. However, in defense of the purpose, founders and members of this forum, I would hope to extend an 'exchange system' to PrivateHYIPs. What are we as a forum membership trying to accomplish here? Honest programs, honest communications, honest earnings? It can't happen without "honest" people. (My thoughts, honesty attracts honesty, and ideas about changing some things in the world of online investing, one thing at a time).
Not with the intention of being too simplistic or holding unobtainable ideals, an escrow mechanism is a very good suggestion. My intention is too help others, as not all exchangers can be trusted either.
I can do without it, but I'd rather add value to PH and an esteemed service for members.
